Regarding the messages and positions from European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, who will start her visit to Skopje on Sunday, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski said on Saturday he expected the country to get unconditional EU talks.
A meeting with the opposition is for now not on her agenda. In the meantime, there haven’t been any contacts regarding the formation of working groups over the election day issue. Mickoski once again called for them to be formed as soon as possible, stating that Parliament, not the Justice Ministry, should host the meetings.
When it comes to the Electoral Code matter, he stated that though VMRO-DPMNE didn’t have a working group representative, it would voice a stand on the proposed changes in Parliament.
