The evacuation of the two North Macedonia nationals, that is, the married couple that’s still in Gaza has been delayed, Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani said on Monday. The reason for that is the bombing of the Rafah crossing and its temporary closure for evacuation of foreign nationals.
According to Osmani, a third North Macedonia national is in Gaza, too, but he has refused to be evacuated because he works for a humanitarian organisation.
Regarding the upcoming European Commission’s progress report on North Macedonia, Osmani expects an objective document that will both acknowledge what has been achieved and criticise weaknesses. Everyone is responsible for continuing the EU integration process, Osmani said.
Regarding the OSCE Summit, he said there was nothing problematic with the procedure related to renting vehicles. The Ministry received a bid only from one company.
Osmani stated that only ABC Rent A Car Tours had applied. The Public Procurement Bureau, too, approved the contract.
