On Thursday, PM Dimitar Kovacevski delivered an address at the 42 nd General Conference of UNESCO in Paris, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of North Macedonia’s membership.
“It’s a huge honour for me to be the first PM from the Republic of North Macedonia delivering an address from this rostrum. The pleasure is even greater because this address is taking place in the year when, as an independent country, we’re marking the 30 th anniversary of our membership,” he said.
Regarding North Macedonia’s foreign policy principles, the PM stated that they reflected the internal policy of the country to build and maintain a multicultural democracy and constant inclusion of diversities in democratic processes, protection and promotion of human rights and rights of the different ethnic communities and vulnerable groups.
