The Ministry of Health informs, according to the data from the Institute of Public Health, in the last 24 hours, 5,982 tests were performed, and 1,082 new cases of COVID-19 were registered. During the same period 29 deaths have been reported. The total number of COVID-diagnosed persons in the country since the beginning of the epidemic is 172,657, the number of recovered patients is 153,640, the number of deaths is 5,782, and the number of active cases is 13,235. Due to the increased interest in vaccinations, Sports Centre “Boris Trajkovski” once more opened vaccination point at its premises, where citizens are ready to be accepted without previously scheduled appointments. It was also reported that two thirds of the new COVID-19 cases in the country are consistent of the Delta strain.
