The questions concerned the secrecy of the deal, penalties in the event of non-fulfilment of items of the document, as well as legal changes in relation to the process. VMRO-DPMNE’s Bojan Stojanoski asked the PM, Dimitar Kovacevski, a question about the changes the Law on Expropriation. Kovacevski once again said that MPs with security certificates would be enabled insight into the deal. Only the part related to the technological process is a secret, the PM stated. According to him, there will be no penalties. The opposition asked Labour and Social Policy Minister Jovanka Trencevska a question about the changes to the Law on Labour Relations, urging her to explain how workers’ rights would be protected when the workforce needed for the Corridors would be imported and paid with taxpayer money. The Minister responded by saying that the deal with didn’t endanger workers’ rights.
