VMRO-DPMNE has reiterated its stand that there will be no constitutional changes.
Despite the conditional resignations submitted by DUI Ministers yesterday and the stand by First Deputy PM Artan Grubi that there is readiness for the party to give up an interim government in the 100-day period before the elections headed by a PM from the ethnic Albanian bloc, the opposition party’s Spokesperson, Naum Stoilkovski, at a press- conference, said irrevocable resignations should be filed by SDSM ministers too and early elections should be organised.
When it comes to SDSM, however, it believes that DUI’s resignations means that all conditions that opposition leader Hristijan Mickoski asked for in order for VMRO-DPMNE to support the changes have been met.
