Commenting on the Government’s negative opinion about its draft amnesty law, VMRO-DPMNE said that was expected. “We expected such developments because the law itself, once we submitted it in accordance with the Parliament’s Rules of Procedure, wasn’t put on the first session, that is, it was rejected by the majority. So, all of this leads to a conclusion that this whole farce that’s being carried out and the not giving of support for presentation of the amnesty law is a devised scenario for a single reason – for the agony of all persons involved in the 27 April processes to continue,” the party’s parliamentary group coordinator, Nikola Micevski, pointed out. On the other hand, SDSM reiterated its stand that a full amnesty is unacceptable. According to the ruling party, those involved in the attacks in Parliament have a different level of accountability.
