SDSM urged on Friday Hristijan Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE to voice a stand on the referendum. “The choice is a bright future or a dark past. A historic agreement has been reached which brings EU and NATO membership for Macedonia, with a preserved identity. If they are in favour of a future, if they are in favour of EU and NATO membership for Macedonia, VMRO-DPMNE’s leadership should urge its members to vote in the referendum,” the ruling party said. On the other hand, VMRO-DPMNE once again accused SDSM of selling national interests. Regarding the referendum, the party will voice a stand by 10 September. “PM Zoran Zaev should know that one doesn’t join the EU and NATO through crime and corruption,” spokesperson, Naum Stoilkovski said.
