Judge Kacarska Appointed President of Constitutional Court

Constitutional Judge Dobrila Kacarska has been elected as the new President of the Constitutional Court of Macedonia, with 6 out of 9 votes of the other Constitutional Judges. Kacarska is to replace at the top position in the Constitutional Court Judge Sali Murati, and will assume office on 2 June 2021. Kacarska was appointed as Constitutional Judge by the Parliament in November 2020, and before this she was a judge in the Criminal Court in Skopje for 30 years, and conducted the trial over the 27 April Parliament Incidents case.
