Green Agenda Becoming Part of DUI, Says Party Leader Ahmeti

After two days of assumptions about what the surprise DUI President Ali Ahmeti would announce on Saturday, the leader of the party said that day his party was accepting the green agenda. At the marking of DUI’s 19^th birthday, Ahmeti talked in front of the young also about the activism of Swedish activist Greta Thunberg. At the start and end of his speech, Ahmeti spoke in Macedonian. The DUI leader also talked about other issues, including the implementation of the Ohrid Framework Agreement, legalisation of higher education in Albanian, decentralisation, national symbols and culture, Albanian language, equitable representation, NATO integration, and decision on a start of negotiations with the EU.  The following day, DUI made public the first part of series of projects from the agenda. The short video concerns renewable energy and utilisation of solar energy.
