In the last 24 hours, 12 new cases of coronavirus have been registered in the country, of which 7 in Skopje and 5 in Kumanovo, bringing the total to 148 infected. Health Minister Venko Filipce, at Tuesday’s press-conference, informed that the combination of therapy for patients with coronavirus has been approved at the Agency for Medicines – MALMED. “The combination containing chloroquine and azithromycin, which has proven to be effective in many countries, will be applied tomorrow to patients treated in our country and in hospital and home conditions after proper examinations by the physician – because evaluation of the clinical condition is needed first and it will be received only by a certain group, not by all patients,” Minister Filipce emphasized.
