The Konrad Adenauer Foundation conducted a poll among the citizens of North Macedonia, according to which the support for the membership of the country in NATO has been increasing since 2021, while no significant changes are registered to the support for the membership in the EU. The poll reveals that 65.7% of the citizens support the membership in NATO, while 62.8% support the country’s accession in the EU. Asked when they believe the country will become part of the EU, 39.3% said that it will never happen, 14/9% said it will happen in at least 10 years, 11.3% believe it will happen in 20 years, while 18,1% said they do not know.
