А VMRO-DPMNE delegation, led by party leader Hristijan Mickoski, paid a visit to Meckin Kamen on the occasion of Day of the Republic – Ilinden.
“To all of us, Ilinden represents the cornerstone of our identity, a struggle for statehood. A day for which many brothers and sisters of ours gave their life in the past, gave their blood so that we can freely today live in the independent country of Macedonia. This day, Ilinden, represents a guide about how we should leave and save our country, Macedonia, in the future,” he noted. According to Mickoski, the Macedonian people is showing defiance and knows it is fighting for its identity.
According to him, regardless of what the Government’s representatives are saying on the occasion of the holiday, as they make those statements in front of media, they are trying to reach deals “under the table” to additionally sell the Macedonian identity out in order to continue to be in power and be able to “rob and steal” from Macedonia.
