New Clinic Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever (CCHF) cases haven’t been registered.
The Infectious Diseases Clinic has received a medicine for a severe form of CCHF. The institution’s head, Milena Stevanovic, told Sitel on Wednesday that certain quantities had been procured in cooperation with the WHO and Doctors without Borders. As she explained, it’s not specific only to CCHF, that is, it was used also for severe forms of hepatitis C.
When it comes to the second case, that is, the 29-year-old Clinic employee that has CCHF, her condition is stable and due to her parameters, she is not taking the medicine.
