Justice Minister Lloga: Dissolution of Judicial Council Remains Possibility

The dissolution of the Judicial Council remains a possibility and will be taking place gradually, through the institutions of the system, not at once, Justice Minister Krenar Lloga said on Tuesday.

Asked whether a solution had been found in conditions when the EU is checking the Council’s work, the Minister stated that he’d met an EU representative, while the further regulation of the law was covered in the 23-27 Strategy. Asked about the 2021 Tetovo hospital fire, the Minister said that at the meeting with Chief Public Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski, he’d been informed about how many cases were open and about their course.

Lloga made those comments in Gostivar, where he attended a promotional campaign for free legal aid. The campaign is organised in different regions in the country. It is supported by the EU and the Council of Europe, in cooperation with the Justice Ministry.
