In the interview with Telma on Thursday, VMRO-DPMNE presidential candidate Gordana Siljanovska Davkova said that if she became President, she’d pardon those convicted in the case concerning the 27 April 2017 storming of Parliament.
“That’s how reconciliation will be reached,” she stated.
The following day, however, at the conference marking the 60th anniversary of the Constitutional Court, President Stevo Pendarovski, who’s a candidate for second term, indirectly condemned her comments, that is, he said that 27 April 2017 had seen an attack on the democratic constitutional order, violence against MPs, and an attack on journalists covering the constitutive session of Parliament.
