Asked about new President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova’s non-use of the constitutional name during the swearing-in ceremony on Sunday, the US Embassy told the 360 Stepeni (360 Degrees) portal on Monday that Washington remained firmly committed to the Prespa Agreement and North Macedonia’s Euro-Atlantic integrations.
“Once the new government is formed and a PM is elected, we will continue to strengthen the importance of respecting the international agreements and benefits of the progress of the country with full-fledged membership in the European Union,” the Embassy said.
