SDSM leader Venko Filipce had a meeting on Wednesday with German Ambassador to North Macedonia, Petra Drexler.
At the meeting, Filipce introduced Drexler to the future policies of SDSM, as well as with the intra-party reforms which focus on strengthening its position as, as he said, the largest opposition party in the country.
“SDSM thoroughly analysed the results of the latest parliamentary election, and in the following period we are resolved to conduct crucial staff changes within the party. Our goal is to be recognised by the citizens as the only social-democratic alternative for the current government,” Filipce told Drexler.
He also voiced deep concern over the positions of the current government in relation to the processes for integration of North Macedonia in the EU, adding that SDSM remains dedicated to the European agenda and the implementation of reforms in line with the negotiation framework.
