A hospital director and school head-teacher each received suspended sentences after they’d pled guilty to falsification of a TOEFL certificate from the Julia centre in Plovdiv, which is the same school referred to in the CV of the new Director of the Agency for National Security, Bojan Hristovski, the 360 Stepeni (360 Degrees) portal reported on Tuesday.
Each will spend two years in prison if they commit a new crime in the next four-year period. On 14 February, the Interior Ministry, then headed by caretaker Minister Pance Toskovski, filed a charge before the Skopje Prosecutor’s Office concerning a fake document.
The verdict was reached on 9 October of this year. The Prosecutor’s Office reclassified the charge, so, instead of being prosecuted for use of a document with false contents, the prosecution concerned falsification, that is, they were prosecuted for creating a non-existent document.
