Levica Expects Broad Support in Parliament for No-Confidence Motion against Dauti

Some MPs have announced that they will build on Thursday and Friday their stand on whether they will support Levica’s no-confidence motion against European Front MP Ilire Dauti, who chairs the Social Policy Committee, which is on the agenda of the 10 January session of Parliament.

However, other parliamentarians point out that even if the motion is successful, the European Front will be able to again nominate her to head the same body of the legislative house. SDSM will build its stand at a coordination meeting.

Levica MP Amar Mecinovic expects broad support considering, as he said, the Defenders Draft-Law she’s blocking was proposed by SDSM, while VMRO-DPMNE, through then-MP Marija Miteva [who now serves as Government Spokesperson], has said it will support a decision to replace her. Regarding the no-confidence motions filed by the European Front, Levica’s MPs will not support them.
