PM Hristijan Mickoski has said that it’s not clear to him why Health Minister Arben Taravari, head of one of the two Alliance for Albanians’ wings, is leaving the cabinet, especially into the “hugs” of Ali Ahmeti and DUI.
“However, that’s, after all, a decision of his and, I am convinced, a decision by few. I don’t think that’s a decision by Alliance for Albanians’ membership and of a big part of the people part of this government. It would be honest if he did so himself instead of pulling the cabinet and citizens by the nose. However, there, slowly and surely, it’s becoming clear that he is returning to the hugs of all those that would for more than two decades devastate, criminalize, rob, and throw Macedonia to its knees”, the PM noted on Sunday.
Mickoski hopes he will have a closing meeting with Taravari.
“I can only wish him luck and hope we will have a closing meeting this week where we will sum up what’s been done and where I will wish him, first of all, good health. That’s what’s most important to all of us. I expect us to have a closing meeting over coffee this week. Of course, later on, considering the government is stable, solid, and has a strong majority in Parliament, I expect it to proceed with the reform process, projects, and delivery for citizens because that’s what citizens expect of us”, Mickoski emphasized.
