Deputy PM and Transport Minister Aleksandar Nikoloski has been authorised by North Macedonia’s Government to sign the Strategic Partnership Agreement with the UK. The signing ceremony will be held in London on Thursday.
Nikoloski said on Tuesday the UK’s Government was making six billion euros available for implementation of projects in his country.
“We’re entering a partnership with the UK, a key Western ally, which clearly defines the policy of the Government, but also the position of Macedonia as a pro-Western country that respects Euro-Atlantic values. The goal of the Agreement is to set up a partnership to implement infrastructure projects in the sectors of health, transport, technology, energy, digital transformation”, he stated.
