It will become known in the coming days who will succeed the officials part of Arben Taravari’s Alliance for Albanians’ wing that are no longer Government officials.
“I expect the structure of the cabinet through which we have functioned so far to remain. I expect a nomination. Afterwards, we will see the people’s qualifications”, PM Hristijan Mickoski stated.
According to Bilall Kasami, Mayor of Tetovo, only several individuals are leaving, whereas the rest will continue to be part of the cabinet and VLEN, as a party.
“We’re talking to the PM these days. I expect us to have finalised talks by the end of the week. My message to all those from Alliance who want to stay with VLEN is that they are welcome”, he stated.
Valbona Adili Emini, a paediatrician who’s part of VLEN, is succeeding Salim Sulejmani, who resigned as MP over Taravari’s decision to leave the cabinet. In the 2024 elections, Adili Emini was behind Sulejmani on the list of MP candidates in Electoral District 5.
