“Alliance for Albanians continues to be part of the cabinet because the huge majority of officials have continued to go to work”, Deputy PM Arben Fetai says for TV21.
According to him, resignations by several officials, including the head of the wing, ex-Health Minister, Arben Taravari, don’t mean the wing is becoming part of the opposition.
“Alliance for Albanians’ part within the Government comprises around 50 state officials appointed to certain positions. At least 50, perhaps even more. I’m seeing that just three of them have so far resigned. It’s known that three have voiced a stand publicly. When it comes to the rest, I don’t know of anybody who’s left the cabinet”, Fetai claims.
