“Prosecutors have questioned over 300 witnesses over the Kocani fire”, Prosecutor-General Ljupco Kocevski said on Thursday.
As he explained, the investigation is at a sensitive stage and supposed to end in around 10 days, after which the suspects will need to conduct insight into the evidence, followed by a decision in mid-June by the Kocani Prosecutor’s Office. The investigation may expand to cover other suspects too.
Also on Thursday, in Parliament, SDSM again filed the Draft-Law on supporting those impacted by the Kocani fire, in the regular procedure, with the draft-text including remarks from the ruling majority. However, VMRO-DPMNE said it wouldn’t want to get into politicising the nightclub tragedy.
