PM Hristijan Mickoski believes that the Prosecutor’s Office needs to take action upon the evidence submitted on Saturday by Skopje Mayor Danela Arsovska regarding the issue of legality of structures in Cair.
Also, answering a journalist’s question on Sunday, he encouraged her to report death threats to the Interior Ministry. Asked about the comments by 1 Deputy PM Izet Mexhiti and Cair Mayor Visar Ganiu that “Arsovska is being used as a destabilisation instrument by DUI before the local elections”, the PM nonetheless stated that there was some truth to that.
“In fact, that’s clear to all. However, I wouldn’t have to add more than what Mexhiti and Ganiu have said. There is truth. Very soon, the public will find out about some other details too”, Mickoski stated.
According to SDSM, however, Mickoski is trying to hide and save from responsibility “the kings of the urban mafia” from VLEN that are part of his coalition.
In that regard, the party asked, “What type of benefit Mickoski has from this? Is that the reason why there are no police, there is nothing? Is that the reason why there is no action?”.
