So-called private buses have returned to Skopje’s streets.
“On Wednesday, we were paid a minimal amount of the debt the City of Skopje has to us so that we can persist until Monday. We expect a bigger part of the debt to be paid on Monday. I hope the problem will be overcome and that there will be no need for us to once again withdraw our vehicles again”, Jovica Zafirovski, representative of private transporters, said on Thursday.
The City of Skopje, too, confirmed that according to the Traffic Center’s insight, private transporters had resumed transport activities.
