The charge pressed by the Kocani Prosecutor’s Office in the Kocani fire has covered 34 physical persons and three legal entities. The second investigation is being carried out by the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime and Corruption.
So far, it has covered 30 former and current police officers and servants. That process is still underway. Interior Minister Pance Toskovski considers that the investigation has been thorough and unselective. Justice, he said on Monday, will be served.
“Macedonia doesn’t deserve to be a country if there is no justice in that case at the end of the day. At the end, with the end of the two investigations and pressing of charges, Macedonian citizens will be able to see what action the Prosecutor’s Office has taken and why”, Toskovski stressed.
