VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski has said his party has talked to ZNAM about mutual support of candidates in the local elections.
The latter’s leader, Maksim Dimitrievski, who will run for another term as Kumanovo Mayor, has confirmed there will be cooperation. However, Mickoski added on Thursday that each party would create its own lists of council member candidates.
When it comes to SDSM, the party will reveal the names of 30 candidates this week, while the complete list will have been presented by the end of the month.
In the ethnic Albanian bloc, there hasn’t been a lot of official information. According to announcements, this week, DUI will meet the two wings of Alliance for Albanians in order to try to reach a deal on mutual cooperation and support for candidates.
