A new protest march under the motto “March of Angels” was held in Kocani on Saturday.
Relatives of those killed in the 16 March nightclub fire said they expected the answers to the request for institutional and financial support sent by them to President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, PM Hristijan Mickoski, and Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi to arrive on Monday (7 July).
Also, they stated they hadn’t received any answer from prosecutors in Kocani regarding the request concerning the monitoring and audio and video materials related to the court process.
“We’re not talking in front of institutions, because we’ve been in the past period verbally attacked on social media by certain members of political parties”, a participant said.
When it comes to the families of those injured in the fire, they stated that though the rehabilitation process at the Ponikva resort was going well, what was ahead was the difficult and more expensive process of recovery by those who’d suffered burns.
