Commenting on the EP’s adoption of Rapporteur and MEP Thomas Waitz’s Report, PM and VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski stated on Wednesday that Bulgaria had worked against his country.
“Today, Bulgaria worked against us. Today, the world saw the types of challenges and injustices facing us, as a country and people, in the 21st century. Today, comfortably, in front of the eyes of everybody in Europe, we can say that the truth has come to light, to the surface”, he stressed.
The PM also stated his country had been blocked by Bulgaria since 1990.
“It has a clear agenda and plan. It’s guided by the thought to destroy the Macedonian nation and identity. However, let’s leave a trace of the truth. This is our Krusevo Manifesto. We must mobilise with all friends and allies. This is a fight for fundamental rights and values. However, this struggle doesn’t start today, nor does it end today. No matter how tragic these troubles are for Macedonia, they have a successful dimension”, Mickoski underlined.
The PM added that the country would never face injustices if it didn’t name, identify, and defeat them.
