SDSM Calls on EU, OSCE, and Foreign Embassies, and Others to React to Police Law Draft-Changes

SDSM has again called for the “scandalous” draft-changes to the Police Law to be withdrawn.

“Just like nobody was spared during the rule of [ex-PM Nikola] Gruevski, [Interior Minister Pance] Toskovski, too, now is preparing a regime in which everyone that will not listen will be blackmailed, pressed, and silenced. We call on the Helsinki Committee, the office of the EU, the OSCE, NGOs, and foreign embassies, all democratic countries, and the entire democratic public to urgently react to these dangerous, regime policies”, MP Mile Talevski stated on Tuesday.

The SDSM parliamentarian also stressed that the only goal of the draft-law was partisanship of police and turning the Interior Ministry into a “partisan militia” under Toskovski’s command.
