PM Hristijan Mickoski has refuted criticism from citizens’ initiatives that major parties want to push independents out of participation in the local elections.
According to him, over the changes to the Electoral Code, there is consensus in Parliament from both major and minor parties. Responsibility for the process being stuck in Parliament, he believes, falls to the legislative house itself.
The Electoral Code is stuck in Parliament due to DUI’s blockade and there being no Badinter majority.
