DUI yet to Decide on Stand on Kocevski No-confidence Motion

When it comes to what stand DUI will present with regards to Levica’s no-confidence motion against Prosecutor-General Ljupco Kocevski, MP Blerim Bexheti said on Monday that a decision would be made at the coordination meeting of its Parliamentary Group the following day.

However, it should be noted that DUI has levelled criticism at Kocevski, alleging the investigation into the Kocani fire has been selective.

As regards SDSM, its Parliamentary Group Coordinator, Oliver Spasovski, stated that his party had already pointed out it was even against the initiated procedure to dismiss Kocevski by the Government (which was put on hold due to the Kocani fire).

In its motion, Levica says that Kocevski is responsible for a selective investigation into the nightclub fire, non-investigation into illegal structures in Skopje, including in Cair, and major problems with regards to the functioning of the Skopje Higher Prosecutor’s Office.
