INA has reported that 1st Deputy PM and Environment Minister Izet Mexhiti and Social Policy, Demography, and Youth Minister Fatmir Limani will be endorsed by VLEN in the Cair and Kicevo mayoral races, respectively, while Bilall Kasami will be supported for another term as Tetovo Mayor.
The Albanian-language portal has said the deal was struck following Wednesday’s meeting of VLEN’s heads.
According to the deal, the other candidates that will be endorsed are: Fadil Cana in Gostivar, Muhamed Elmazi in Saraj, Fisnik Mela in Debar, Feti Abazi in Bogovinje, Daut Memishi in Tearce, Blerim Sejdiu in Zelino, Haqim Ramadani in Brvenica, Afet Jashari in Studenicani, Nexhmedin Sadiku in Lipkovo, and Hamit Shabani in Vrapciste.
When it comes to Aracinovo, two people are in play. The candidates are expected to be formally confirmed and made official by VLEN.
