Competition to Elect New SCPC President Published

Parliament’s Committee on Election and Appointment Issues has published a competition to elect a State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) President, following Tatjana Dimitrovska’s resignation. Dimitrovska has been charged with disclosing an official secret to former Negotino plant head Nebojsa Stojanovic, who’s among those charged in the Additive case, and with computer falsification, that is, in the state secret clearance process.

According to the second charge, an auditor of the State Audit Office took the clearance test for her. Dimitrovska has officially taken the document to return to her previous job at the State Audit Office.

She will start work on Monday in a new sector, according to her title. Dimitrovska will continue to be an assistant to the head of the Office, but she will not be involved in drawing up audit documents.

This position will not require her to have state secret clearance, which she handed over following the charge filed against her. When she was elected SCPC head, she put her Audit Office job on hold.
