Regarding the nationalist chants made during the basketball game in Kumanovo, the Interior Ministry has said several suspects have been summoned.
It points out that specific legal measures will be taken against those involved, including criminal proceedings.
On Tuesday, officers arrested a 30-year-old from Kumanovo, S.P., on suspicion that at the half, he tried to bring a banner containing insulting content to the game. He will be charged once the case is fully solved.
Also, the Pance Toskovski-headed institution has called on all citizens and members of supporters’ groups to cheer on their favorite athletes without hate speech and without any insults along personal, ethnic, religious or other lines.
