New Round of DUI-VLEN Accusations

DUI and VLEN have continued to trade accusations. According to the former, the latter, instead of EU path progress, has brought the so-called Serbian world to North Macedonia.

In that regard, Ali Ahmeti’s party asked the ruling coalition partner why it had failed to deliver on its promise that the constitutional changes to include Bulgarians in the Constitution would be made in the first six months of the new cabinet’s term.

However, VLEN said that DUI’s Bujar Osmani, when he was Foreign Minister, went to Belgrade for meetings more than 10 times.

“It’s ridiculous that they, I’m referring to their then-Foreign Minister, Osmani, were in Belgrade 11 times. It’s ridiculous for those that would favour open Balkan to level accusations over such matters”, 1st Deputy PM Izet Mexhiti noted.
