Charge as Continuation of Additive Case Investigation Approved

The council for assessment of the bill of indictment has approved a charge as continuation of the investigation into the Additive case. The process concerns three persons, including ex-State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) President Tatjana Dimitrovska, who’s been charged with disclosing an official secret.

The Criminal Court said on Wednesday the bill of indictment had been sent to the trial chamber, while the Prosecutor’s Office has already sent a proposal to merge the two processes. For those reasons, the hearing scheduled for Thursday (21 August) has been postponed for 2 September.

The Additive case concerns abuse of public procurement and money laundering in the procurement of coal additives for the Bitola and Oslomej plants. The investigation covers over 30 people, including former directors and officials.
