Within the deadline of 18 August, officials and institutions had declared just 1,916 official vehicles. According to statistics, though, institutions have 6,500 vehicles at their disposal.
In order for those vehicles not to be misused for party purposes during the pre-election campaign by officials, the Government, on Wednesday, appealed to everyone who hadn’t declared the vehicles to do so as soon as possible.
Also, in order for citizens to be able to distinguish official vehicles of intuitions and officials in the event of misuse, as of 15 September, they will have licence plates in colour. All institutions using official vehicles had had until 18 August to declare their vehicles, licence plate number, make, and year of production.
