Erdal Ramadan, who was suspended as Ropotovo Police Department Commander and faced a criminal charge after he’d fired a Kalashnikov from a balcony in 2023, has returned to work. Over the matter, SDSM, on Thursday, levelled fierce criticism at Interior Minister Pance Toskovski.
“The Commander of the police station in Ropotovo who was firing a Kalashnikov and was suspended and with a criminal charge has been returned to the job position again by Toskovski. The question is: Why? Today, we are seeing the Commander that was shooting proudly posing precisely with his protege, Pance Toskovski”, the party said regarding a photo showing Ramadan, Toskovski, and other persons at an event together.
However, in response, VMRO-DPMNE stated that Toskovski had suspended Ramadan, but SDSM’s Danica Cadieva, as head of a second-instance commission, had been the one that had allowed him to return to work.
