The Municipalities of Aerodrom, Gazi Baba, and parts of the Municipality of Centar in Skopje, were left without energy for couple of hours on Sunday afternoon after a fire broke out near a transformation station in Novo Lisice.
From the Crisis Management Centre (CMC), they informed that the fire started at the Vardariste landfill and spread towards the transformation station, prompting teams from EVN Macedonia to cut the power in the lines connected to this station in order to avoid further damage. After the fire was put under control and extinguished, the power was back throughout the city around 07:00 p.m.
