Education Minister Vesna Janevska said at a press conference that textbooks are being delivered to all public schools and all elementary and high school students will have all of their books this year.
“This year, to the government’s great delight, but to the even greater delight of students, teachers and parents, there will be textbooks for every subject. Henceforth, the topic of whether students will get textbooks in September should be put to rest. The shame is not ours to bear. It belongs to the people who previously managed this department and the previous government”, Janevska said.
The new school year for primary and secondary education in North Macedonia start on Monday 1 September.
