Head of the Governmental Service for General and Common Affairs Ivica Tomovski informed at a press conference that by the end of this month, all official vehicles of the institutions of the state will get new red registration plates.
“We instructed all institutions to commence the change of the registration plates of the vehicles, with a deadline till 15 September. Only a part of the vehicles of the Interior Ministry for special purposes and those of the Agency for National Security are excluded from this regulation.
Our goal is for all official vehicles to have the new plates by the start of the pre-electoral campaign for the local election, so that we prevent the use of official vehicles for personal or political party purposes”, Tomovski explained.
