SDSM’s Filipce again Criticises Government’s Work on Reform Agenda

On Wednesday, SDSM leader Venko Filipce, regarding the issue of securing political consensus for the process of constitutional changes and starting EU negotiations, stated that Parliament should be the place where that process would be carried out.

Filipce, who’s also a SDSM MP and Chair of the National European Integration Council, made those comments at a workshop on Parliament’s contribution to the EU road, organised in the frames of the project headlined “Support to European Integration of North Macedonia”.

Once again, he stated that the government hadn’t implemented reforms related to the EU path at all.

“We should learn from the mistakes and experiences of others and thus show we have some vision, considering we’re compatible as countries with both Montenegro and Albania, which are now several steps ahead of us due to their commitment shown by them in the past multiple years, confirming the vision as to where they want to see their country in the future”, the SDSM leader underlined.

In response, VMRO-DPMNE said that there was implementation of the reform agenda, but Filipce didn’t have insight into that because he was involved in another policy, that is, one of spreading hate, lies, and speculations.
