In the frames of his working visit to the US, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Timco Mucunski, at the State Department, met with the Acting Principal Deputy Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Andrew Stowe.
They talked about achievements in the 30-year-period since the establishment of US-North Macedonia diplomatic relations, strategic partnership, political and sectoral cooperation, and potential to further deepen the ties.
The excellent bilateral and friendly relations, founded on the values of security, democracy, and freedom, were jointly confirmed, Mucunski’s Ministry said in the press-release. Mucunski expressed gratitude for the continued support from the US in the transformation of society, strengthening of capacities, and implementation of necessary reforms.
In the frames of the visit, Mucunski also held meetings with Congress members Robert Aderholt, Claudia Tenney, and Daniel Webster. Those meetings, too, saw discussions on bilateral relations and the alliance within NATO. Furthermore, on social media, Mucunski stated that he’d met another Congress member, Michael Turner.
“We talked about the strong bilateral relations, strategic partnership, and allied cooperation in the frames of NATO”, the Minister said in the post.
