The Interior Ministry has rejected claims on social media that the 31-year-old Veles girl Rosica Koceva had sent a text to Minister Pance Toskovski asking for help several months before her murder.
“Minister Toskovski adamantly dismisses allegations that have been made public and, at the same time, appeals for this tragic event not to be exploited for daily-political purposes”, the institution said.
The same day, VMRO-DPMNE, regarding SDSM’s press-conference on the topic, accused the opposition party of exploiting the murder to score political points. Texts SDSM is talking about are complete fabrications prepared by the party’s “kitchen for lies and manipulations”, it added.
