VMRO-DPMNE leader and PM Hristijan Mickoski and SDSM leader Venko Filipce have continued to trade accusations in the frames of the election campaign for the local elections.
In Krusevo, the VMRO-DPMNE leader said the coalition led by his party was offering a real programme and projects, whereas there were only empty promises and a dark campaign by SDSM. That’s why, he added, SDSM will experience a huge debacle on 19 October.
“Their dark campaign is their main offer in these elections”, Mickoski noted.
In Prilep, Mickoski stated that since the start of his cabinet’s term at a central level of government, hope had been restored, following seven years of lies, divisions, and misuse. In addition, he again criticised SDSM over the French proposal and Bulgaria.
“It doesn’t take resolve and vision to sell national interests out. That takes only having no moral limits and elementary sense of what a national interest is”, Mickoski emphasised.
On the other hand, in Tetovo, Filipce criticised what he said was the VMRO-DPMNE-led cabinet’s inaction when it came to problems facing citizens every day.
“Now is the moment for us to again come together, to straight ourselves, and create a positive energy that will stop injustice and bring back the country to the people’s heads”, Filipce noted.
The VMRO-DPMNE-headed coalition, the opposition leader noted, has lost itself in arrogance while citizens have struggled to make ends meet.
Also, at a SDSM forum in Jegunovce, Filipce said though Mickoski was talking about hate, the VMRO-DPMNE leader and PM himself was a source of hate and destructive rhetoric that divided the people and destabilised the country.
