PM Mickoski Says There’ll Be no Early Parliamentary Elections

On Monday, PM Hristijan Mickoski refuted stands that the results of the local elections would lead to early parliamentary elections in the spring.

As he pointed out, in the 2024 elections, over 600,000 citizens voted for the current cabinet, which is why it has full legitimacy to persist. However, different messages have come from DUI and its coalition.

Party leader Ali Ahmeti sent a message that there had to be early elections in the spring, while the coalition’s Cair mayoral candidate, ex-Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, even claimed there was already consensus among main political factors that elections were inevitable.
