Skopje remains European Capital of Culture for 2028, Foreign Minister Mucunski said after the meeting with Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture, and Sport Micallef.
On social media, the Minister stated that together with Skopje Mayor Gjorgjievski and Culture Minister Ljutkov, they had conveyed the Government’s readiness to continue the project for Skopje European Capital of Culture 2028 with strong institutional support.
Stressing that the process had been blocked and managed in contradiction with legal regulations, Mucunski also said that thanks to activities in the previous period, it had been unblocked and directed towards transparent and responsible implementation.
